Liked: The staff was awesome

Decent place to stay, but...

Liked: It was in a kind of hidden area, which I liked. It made me feel secure.
Disliked: Small parking lot in the front. Certain areas smelled bad. Had a few roaches in my room.

Beware

Liked: The staff was polite
Disliked: They had nats in the room and its not properly cleaned

My stay was good until...

Liked: The breakfast was great I enjoyed it. They had a variety of breakfast items you can choose from.
Disliked: I didn’t like I had a roach crawling in the bed while I was laying down. In the kitchen area I went to get a cup to pour my drink and a roach was in there. The kitchen sink had two dead roaches in it. And also the area that holds the cups with coffee had two roach that came out of it.

Bad

Disliked: The place was dirty and it was filled with little bugs. And when talking to staff the expressed that they knew of this

Disliked: We had roaches in the room and the room was hot

Disappointed

Liked: Location was great. Lots of restaurant choices & shopping. Close to Downtown New Orleans. Hotel had decent breakfast choices. The staff is AMAZING! All were professional and accommodated all our requests. It is a shame the hotel is in sad shape…furnishings and finishing are in disrepair. This hotel DOES NOT represent the Marriott brand very well.
Disliked: Broken couches with unusable pullout beds. Carpeting is torn and worn throughout rooms. Curtains and blackout shades are old. A/C units smell moldy and some units are sluggish. Shower liner was too short resulting in water pooling outside tub area.

Liked: First room they moved us to the TV did not work. The second room they moved us to the flooring was coming up in front of the bathroom door so if you got up at night to go you would stub your toe or foot would get pinched
Disliked: Know what rooms are good or ready for guest
