Very average for the amount...
Liked: The location.
Disliked: The bathroom door was broken and half hanging from the frame, the TV wasn’t working and on New Year’s Eve all the key cards stopped working and we had to wait for almost 2 hours to get in our room. The breakfast was average with almost no gluten free options.

Okay Hotel for family travel.
Liked: The rooms were Okay. There was a kitchen. The pots and pans and utensils were too used. Morning breakfast was of okay quality. The breakfast space was crowded perhaps due to high travel season. Hotel was about 15 minutes walk from French quarter. I would not recommend walking by oneself at night. Self parking was across street - acceptable. It does save a lot compared with hotel parking in French quarter. Overall, it was okay hotel.
Disliked: There was some difference in cost between when we made the reservation and what we were eventually charged. This was not good.

I’ll never know
Liked: I am sure the property is lovely. I wouldn’t know as my boyfriend got the raging stomach bug going around so we could not stay and neither booking.com or the hotel would give me a voucher for a different night so I completely lost $180. I didn’t expect a refund on a non-refundable room but I would have expected some sort of ability to stay a different night due to unforeseen illness. That is what happened for most non-refundable situations. I will never use booking.com or stay at a Marriott property again.
Disliked: The lack of compassion for someone becoming ill and not letting me have my $180 room on a different night

Our stay was very nice.
Liked: The room was very nice and loved the view to see the area. Staff was very nice. Made it very easy for Ubers to get to us. Loved the Valet parking gentlemen opening and closing the door for our Uber drivers.
Disliked: Would have loved breakfast hours to be the same all week. We missed breakfast everyday and when we though we were in time to get it, the hours were different and closed earlier so we went to Ruby Slipper. Also, wish we were prepared for the deposit although we prepaid for our rooms.

Average stay. Breakfast so-so, valet...
Liked: The room was clean and bathroom spacious. The desk clerks were nice and elevators fast, rarely waited over 30 seconds. A/C worked great, our room got nice and cold. Also, the room was quiet which was nice.
Disliked: We requested extra pillows ahead of time and the request was confirmed the day of our arrival via phone. However, when we arrived that evening there were no extra pillows in the room. We called the front desk and they were unaware of the request and said she'd have housekeeping take care of it when they arrived (2nd shift maybe). We arrived around 6pm and were tired from the 10 hour drive (not exactly party animals) so were hoping to relax. I had to call another 2-3 times looking for the pillows and the finally arrived around 8pm. Also, the girl working valet the evening we arrived was less than pleasant and had no customer service skills whatsoever. The morning we left around 5am we called to have our vehicle brought up and were told valet does not get in until 6:30a.m. and that we'd have to get our own car about 2 blocks away. This is very inconvenient. The desk clerk did reduce out parking for that one night from the valet price of $39 down to the self-parking price of $20.
