It Sucked!

Liked: The place has gone downhill over the years. It was a great place to stay. Was told maid service was limited to every third day and that didn't happen. On check out the clerk said something else about having to request it. Seems they can't get their story straight. Lights were burnt out in the room, no tissues box was left with only one never filled, and we had to bring used towels to the front desk to get replacements. The best thing overall in the facility was the gentleman who work the breakfast area, he was awesome! The morning desk staff, well....lets say customer service is not their first priority.
Disliked: The room, the lack of maid service, the additional charge for incidentals made to the card on check in, (which was not mentioned in the booking).

Ready to go back.

Disappointed this time around

Disliked: Breakfast was very limited. No water, no waffles, no orange juice, The link Sausage was hard and cold. The temperature in the room had to be kept at 68° or below Or else the floor would get damp. Had to put the towels in the tile area and bathroom so that I would not slip even though I did slip and hit the wall. There was no body wash as they offer Body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The plastic shower curtain was too short, So the floor got all wet and I had to wipe it up. also.What high was quoted on booking.com was a $107 and change. when I left there They told me it was a bit more than that. Asked the manager about the difference.And she said it was a parking fee and that it was in their website. I have been through the website and I do not see any parking fee mentioned. The water in the tub was not hot.It was just warm. You have to ask for an extra blanket If you want one. I feel it should be in the room already. It used to be, they had all the utensils necessary in the room for the kitchen.But now there are a lot of things missing. I always ask for a bottom floor room Because I am 70 years old and like to stay downstairs and near the office To feel safe. It's not taken into consideration that I am an elder person and traveling alone. This has been my place to stay when I go to Corpus Christi On veterans day but I may be changing the hotel. I love the hotel but it's beginning to Go down a little.
