Clean cozy place

Liked: The hotel was pretty well located and easy to access with public transport. The room was clean, spacious and well equipped. We were offered a discount voucher for breakfast nearby, which was a very nice gesture. The staff was friendly. We were allowed to store our baggage on the day of departure.
Disliked: Some parts of the hotel would deserve a refresh. The lift is extremely slow and doesn’t feel that safe. I have noticed missing smoke detector in our room (not sure there was another one installed)

The hotel tries really hard...

Liked: The location is unbeatable. It's right by Union Square. The people who work the front desk are the nicest and most pleasant people you meet.
Disliked: I spotted a roach in the bathroom.
