Disliked: Bedroom size is super small.Sound proof is bad. The benches placed on the plaza kept people talking up to 3am. You can hear everything from insideDetails were poor like the torn curtain. To be placed in a separate building with no previous information on reservation No parking as it was full. No amenities like a bottle of water or a tes kettle and coffee. Location is central but better streets are available at same price

Right in the center of...

Liked: Great value in a very central location near everything you would want to see in the old town. The room was huge and the bed was comfortable enough. Loved the large sized pillows. Lots of natural light. It was winter and, once we got the heater to work, the room was comfortable and warm. The small fridge was a welcome olus. Has parking close by for a decent price.
Disliked: Noisy. If you are a light sleeper, you will not be happy here. Normal street noise is a given (being in the center) but there is no effort made to soundproof any of the windows. You could hear street conversation like it was right next to you. Heat/Air conditioner hasn't been serviced in quite a long time and is filled with dust. Also, definitely not a non smoking hotel. A kettle and cups would be a nice addition.

Great location, awful room.

Liked: The location was great. Right in the centre of the city. Easy walking distance to all areas.
Disliked: Directions to the hotel are not clear. It is located next to a sister hotel from which I was directed to check in.I went to the hotel, and the receptionist told me to go to the larger hotel to check in. I told her that I was told to come to her. She said Really?? Which surprised me. I asked for parking. She said had I booked. I said no as it didn't state it in the correspondence that I had to. No parking available. Had to locate a public car park. Luckily, there was one not far from the hotel. I parked there for 26 hours and it cost €22. Which is thought was good value.Our room was on the ground floor. It felt very closterphobic and an overwhelming smell of Bleach. It was awful. I couldn't open the bathroom window as it was locked. The room was small. I didn't like the room. Nothing like the photos on the site. Not somewhere where you could relax.The bathroom was a good size, but there were hairs on the floor and in the shower.Breakfast was served in the 4 star sister hotel. This is the worst breakfast offering I have ever had. We arrived with 45 mins to go until it finished. The food trays were empty, with no orange juice or croissants. The little bacon and sausages that were in the tins were swimming in juices. It did not look appertising at all.At 10.55, we were told breakfast was finished and asked to leave! I have never been thrown out of breakfast in a hotel ever.I travel to Almeria a lot and will never stay at either of the Torreluz hotels again.
