Good

Liked: Room and bathroom were nice and hotel staff pleasant. My 2nd lunch of Calmari was good.
Disliked: For a Superior room we were not impressed with the view (Room 15)The soup we had for our 1st lunch was salty. This tomato soup was again on the menu the following day and again the sandwich my husband had was very salty.

Need to rethink restaurant menu...

Liked: It's a nice building in a good location close to the main town but set back from the road so no traffic noise. Rooms were spacious and comfortable.
Disliked: Restaurant menu was very limited and far too expensive. £34 for a sirloin steak is just ridiculous. That's put me off staying here again....!!

Excellent Hotel would highly recommend.

Liked: The Hotel was easily accessed from the main road in Banchory with plenty of parking. The staff were all friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was warm and very clean with fresh towels every day. The breakfast was excellent with a large variety of hot food as well as fresh fruit, cereals etc. The evening meals were also excellent with lots of choice and the decor in the restaurant was beautiful.
Disliked: Nothing
