Excellent hotel

Liked: The location could not be better, only a few minutes walk to shops, restaurants and the underground. The area is nice, and as a solo female I felt safe at all times. The room was a decent size for a single, with tv and coffee facilities. Breakfast was continental, it was very tasty with lots of choice, ideal for me. The staff were pleasant and helpful, lots of smiley faces.
Disliked: The room.was a little shabby and the walls were thin.

Nice place, except for sleeping

Liked: The hotel and room were clean. The bed was comfortable - - the mattress was very firm, which I like because I have back problems but others might find uncomfortable. It was a king-size bed, which I also like because I'm tall. The staff was also friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The biggest negative was that the room was uncomfortably warm and stuffy, and there was no thermostat so we couldn't do anything about it. We tried opening the windows but they were blocked so they only opened a few inches which wasn't enough to cool the room down. As a result, we both had trouble sleeping.The primary purpose of a hotel room is to have a comfortable place to sleep. It failed that requirement completely. Three stars was generous.
