Pleasant

Liked: Enjoy our time here at the estate. The location is fantastic, situated on a quiet property with its own river running through. The room is very spacious and incredibly well equipped, it had everything we needed and the stuff that is usually missed (ie soaps, kitchen utensils, bbq wipes etc). The spa was a nice touch and it was nice to walk around the property.
Disliked: 2 things - Noise from the adjoining room and the uncomfortable bed.I was surprised to find that the Fern Tree and Manna Gum were side by side, no where online anywhere does it mention that these two chalets are adjoining and the photos avoid showing them together. This was a bit annoying as Tree Fern is marketed as a 'romantic getaway for couples' which it certainly was not on the second night when a family with young children arrived in Manna Gum next door. Given both chalets share the same frame/subfloor, we could feel and hear every single footstep, children running and stomping from next door, including in the evening and first thing in the morning. It really put a dampener on what had been a quiet, romantic getaway until the room next door was occupied. Not sure how you fix this, given that you're playing lucky dip if the Manna Gum is occupied by a family or not (which accommodates up to 3 children). Maybe ditch the bunks to appeal to couples only? I think the property needs to be clearer with the fact that they are side by side.Self explanatory, but the bed was very uncomfortable. We are both young and fit and were still both sore after sleeping.

It was a beautiful stay...

Liked: I could make my own breakfast with little condiments, though some were missing. You need to take your own breakfast or you can go to the little red duck cafe closeby, which is also very tasty food and available all day.
Disliked: I had bought bread, eggs and avocado before arriving, expecting condiments to be there. There was empty pepper bottle and very little condiments. Only salt was available. While packing up realised if there was aluminium foil and clingwrap would have been good.
