Second stay but disappointed this...

Liked: Location quiet good meals friendly staff easy to check in
Disliked: It was my second time staying but I was disappointed this time the room smelt of smoke when I got there and my room was next to smoking area so smoke kept coming in and even smell got into bathroom.Everytime someone smoked smell got worsePeople need to smoke away from bedrooms not next to them.Had to pay for each breakfast item I had when I thought I booked with breakfast included

Disliked: Slow customer service poor communication Meal look warm Two single beds pushed together uncomfortable Adequate space in the room but…….No luggage rack Limited hanging space No sofa No easy chair One of the windows wouldn’t open

Another good visit

Liked: Stayed here many times before. Always clean and comfortable
Disliked: If I was being fussy, some of the decor in rooms, corridors, bar and restaurant could do with a refresh.

Could be really good but...

Liked: Room was generally nice and bed comfy enough. Shower was pretty good.
Disliked: Was very noisy with traffic. Alarm went off in my room twice. There were stains on the walls that should have been wiped off.

Exceptional

Liked: . The hotel staff offers such welcome. Kian the young man is a credit to his mum Christine who also works there. The staff are all exceptional. Our room was clean cosy and comfortable. The blackout certainly worked. The hotel is situated near the motorway and yet it's so quiet. My friend and I will definitely be back and we would highly recommend the hotel. The food is phenomenal EVENING meal and a proper SCOTTISH BREAKFAST
