Liked: Great location, last minute booking available, spacious room, good security guard patrols, clean sheets and nice lighting.
Disliked: Too. 7 - There was a really rancid smell coming from the bathroom. I ran water through all the pipes in case it was a dried up ‘S’ bend allowing sewage smells up. But it made no difference. It was so strong I couldn’t get to sleep. The fridge’s freezer had mould all through it and it leaked out into the floor. While trying to locate the source of the smell I found under the bed a thick layer or dust and a clearly used tissue.

Clean room. Good meal.

Liked: Didn’t know you could have breakfast. Meal at restaurant was excellent. The two men in room next to us were really noisy. Sat outfront of the room drinking. I opened our door and said that it was nearly 1am could they keep their voices down.
Disliked: No hairdryer. No ice in refrigerator. No drinking glasses. Policing of noisy occupants.

Value for money

Liked: This is our second time staying here and once again we were impressed with value for money, access to a decent pub and good location for games at Brookvale. The biggest issue was that the room when entered smelt like a bad public bathroom - everything was clean, I do want to preface this, but we believe the drains need some kind of treatment, as closing the bathroom door, opening the windows and putting the aircon only somewhat solved it. We didn't raise it at the time because we were in the room for less than 10 hours and it did get better after doing those things. The other thing was that the pillows were very thin and didn't really feel that much different to sleeping without. Other than that, it is a clean room, with good ammenities and despite the above, we will likely come back for future games. Staff were lovely and food at the pub was great.
