Liked: Nothing went well. It honestly feels like the set of a horror movie—abandoned, eerie, and nothing like the pics and what was promised. Everything advertised is a complete misrepresentation, bordering on outright fraud.
Disliked: First of all, the location is remote and unsettling, surrounded by RVs and seemingly deserted. The "pool" is not a pool at all—more like a murky pond you'd expect to find behind an old farmhouse. The entire property is filthy, sketchy, and gives off major creepy vibes.There is no private beach; it's actually a public neighbourhood beach that's a 15–20 minute walk away. So if you're hoping for a peaceful beachside retreat, think again. There’s also no staff on site, and no one answers the provided contact number. As for parking? Forget it—it doesn’t exist.

Beautiful bedrooms, building and location

Liked: Lovely big rooms, friendly reception with a number to call with any queries. Beautiful quiet location which will be amazing in the summer. Outdoor pool but April is too cold for a dip. They also sell jams, chutneys, hot chocolate bombs and plants. Didn’t sample the breakfast unfortunately as it is served after 8.30am and I had to leave at 7am for work.

Timber House, Our New Favorite...

Liked: Timber House is simple rustic elegance. The atmosphere is a welcoming, quiet retreat from the bustle of the complex society we live in. The staff are down to earth and make you feel like you are part of the family.

Exceptional

Liked: I absolutely LOVE this place. Felt very safe. Beautiful views. Close to the water. Lots of parking. The whole resort is well kept. Beautiful big fireplace in the main hall. Breakfast was delicious. It felt like home. The staff were so kind and welcoming. The room was clean and cozy. The bed was very comfortable. I love the cottage/rustic vibes. We will definitely be staying there again in the near future!

Lovely accommodation

Liked: We had a wonderful time in the chalet. The beach area is beautiful! Breakfast was superb with home made coconut peach muffins.
Disliked: The living room area wasn’t as clean as I’d like. The kitchen and tea kettle were a bit dirty. I couldn’t make my tea at night.
