Lovely accommodation

Liked: We had a wonderful time in the chalet. The beach area is beautiful! Breakfast was superb with home made coconut peach muffins.
Disliked: The living room area wasn’t as clean as I’d like. The kitchen and tea kettle were a bit dirty. I couldn’t make my tea at night.

Very nice facility, well maintained...

Liked: Location was next to the Lake Ontario , with sandy beach and clear water. Only 15 min from Brighton and about 20 min from Presqu’ile Provincial Park. The facility didn’t have a hotel feel but mostly like a huge cottage with shared kitchen and living and dining area. Staff was present but not like tending the reception 24hrs . They were in the premises doing all kind of jobs to keep the place clean and running. They were always available by the text or call. There was a cute fully licensed outdoor bar/snack trailer by the pool where you could purchase a burger and beer. The place is very pet friendly, lots of guest arrived with their dogs.
Disliked: Nothing we really didn’t like, just for someone who has problem with climbing stairs it can be difficult to move around .

Very nice location, many amenities,...

Liked: The location is very good, with access to Lake Onatario and a narrow but sandy beach. We also enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool when the weather did not allowed us to swim in the lake. You are being asked to order your breakfast and are being served by a very friendly lady. They baked fresh muffins, which were very good.
Disliked: We were struggling with opening our door. Probably because humidity was high and the wood expended. Still, it was an issue for us and would he a huge issue for someone less fitted. We did not have a chance to meet anyone from the resort staff other than the kitchen crew, which was unusual. Usually it means a lot when someone welcomes you to a new place and provides some information,

Nice room but too noisy.

Disliked: The room and hotel were lovely, but we were not able to sleep during the night because 1. There was a loudspeaker that blared music all night long directly under our room (there was no event, it was just playing a playlist all night long), and then at about 3:00am some other guests decided to use the pool and were shrieking and yelling loudly. I shared this feedback and was told that it would be escalated to management but haven’t heard back. Very disappointed.

Nice clean place but NOT...

Liked: Beautiful house, clean and large rooms, friendly staff. Good size pool. Common kitchen.
Disliked: Not a "resort" no service, no spa, no sauna. "Private" beach is surrounded by little cabins and you feel that you are intruding on their property. The area is beautiful with lush greens and the Timber house is beautiful.We travelled by motorcycle so expecting all amenities to be available. When we arrived approximately 2pm our key was on the front desk counter but nobody to speak to. We were really thirsty, there was a bar with wine bottles, coolers and sodas but under lock and key. I texted the number written on our arrival sheet if there was someone available so that we can buy some wine or drinks and we were told they were not a 24 hour service. We headed to our room which was really nice and fell asleep. When we woke up we were hungry and decided to order through UberEats. No restaurant or food delivery service would deliver to the location. We got on our motorcycle and headed 20 minutes to the nearest town to eat and buy groceries.There is a common kitchen that you can put in your groceries and make coffee. The only service available is for breakfast which was ok.This location is remote and although its a nice quite rest spot, our 2 day reservation was too long. I would say a late overnight stay if needed but for no services and the distance to the nearest towns to get anything to buy is an inconvenience. They cater to weddings on the weekends and that is when service is available.Nice place but unfortunately not on my recommended places to stay.
