Respect Reservations

Liked: The location is very convenient, the room was very clean, and bed comfortable. The staff was very polite and friendly. The front office manager I believe could have done more with the issue I brought up to his attention.
Disliked: The room was very clean and spacious with a great view. Unfortunately it wasn't the room I had reserved two weeks prior. I had reserved a high level room with balcony, "Executive King Room with balcony". The room that I was given did not have a balcony. When I brought it up the front office manager "Miguel" stated that the room was unavailable because of high demand. He offered to change rooms the second night when a room with balcony would be available. He didn't offer an apology or any type of compensation even though I paid extra for the balcony. I turned down exchanging rooms because I did not want to settle in a room and then have to switch all my belongings the next day. I should have to. I didn't allow this to ruin my stay and all the other staff were amazing and very polite. I do feel that my reservation was not respected.
