Liked: Great locations! It has multiple great restaurants within super close walking distance. It is quiet and convenient! If we are traveling to Yosemite/ Mono Lake or Bishop/Mammoth Lake, this is the place to stay! Highly recommended!
Disliked: The hotel room is very spacious and clean. The heating worked perfectly and saved our life in the cold Oct night. It is super dog-friendly. We had a large lawn right in front of my room so it is very good. The walkability is nice, and the environment is quiet.

Get more than you pay...

Liked: Thunderbird always has excellent customer service. We were worried about it being a small motel but it’s the only place we’ll stay in Bishop now.
Disliked: The parking situation is a little strange, but we always manage.
