Great price, clean rooms

Liked: It seems to be one of the iconic places to stay along I90 going to Mt. Rushmore. The price is very reasonable and the rooms are clean and comfortable. We books two rooms for our family and they gave us connecting rooms which made it fun for th kids.Breakfast is continental. No gluten-free options. It's an older facility so the rooms are smaller than newer motels. Also, older decor or look.

Disliked: We had peaple in the room next to us that partied until 4:30 am then they go up and started in again at 6:30 am we had to get up and leave

Very poor

Liked: The physical place and staff were fine.
Disliked: There were a number of guests who were there for hunting that openly displayed guns and were very rude and made hostile remarks. I felt unsafe and i suppose there was nothing the staff could do.

With limited selections across South...

Liked: The breakfast waffle was very good. The staff was friendly.
Disliked: The room was updated but access to the AC/Heating control was hard to reach.

Exceptional

It was comfortable and clean.

Liked: It was good, place to sit outside, close to a restaurant.
Disliked: The people at the reception desk was very very hard to understand their English. One of them I couldn’t hardly understand anything. This would be one of the reason I would not return. Also the side entrance was a little scary, if I would have been traveling alone it would have been a little un-nerving.
