Worst hotel we have ever...
Liked: Location.
Disliked: Took 25 mins to check in , long lines . The breakfast line was down the hallway , dark room , was messy food was disgusting looking . Watery eggs, burnt biscuits, sausage was discolored , place was a nasty mess. Our room was nasty, bathroom shower old and nasty, had to stand on towels to shower . Mo toilet paper holder , it was broke No bed skirt so u could see the nasty old stained mattress, nasty stuff smeared on wall by night stand. Bed is not a QUEEN……… light out in bathroom , worst hotel we have EVER STAYED AT ……Hands down

Great place to stay…..
Disliked: I don’t know if it’s becoming the new normal —but…the bathroom door had no lock on it —To clarify — it’s not that it had a broken door lock — it had no lock at all —-I find that to be “strange”…not certain if I can get on-board with it…

Very disappointing
Liked: I like the location, but there are many other hotels nearby. The elevator was very quick. There was no bad smell upon entering the second hotel room. The sheets were nice and soft, so we're the pillows. I enjoyed the view from the hotel room and having two large windows.
Disliked: The first hotel room assigned to us was not clean. There were grass shavings on the floor, hair on the bathroom floor, and the toilet was dirty. Both room's amenities are outdated and in need of refurbishment: the TV was from 2010, and there was no Wi-Fi network or microwave in the room. Additionally, the bathroom door had scuffs and required excessive force to close properly. We were reassigned to a different room. Although the toilet in this room was cleaner than the one in the first room, it was still not completely clean. The bed had lumps and, even though it was decently comfortable, it sank in the center. Breakfast was disappointing. They served powdered eggs, the sausage and hash browns were very greasy, there was no alternative to cow's milk, and there were no healthier cereal options. Breakfast was included, but seeing that breakfast would have been $12 or $13 a person, it's not worth it. The exercise center was no good. This is not a resort hotel now, it might have been in the past, but it desperately needs a refresh.

Good
Liked: Location, clean, value
Disliked: While checking in, we were high pressured by the desk clerk who tried to get us to agree to attending a “presentation” on their vacation properties. We declined several times as the clerk ramped up the sales pitch with promises of a free vacation and money thrown in. We refused the offer. We knew that it was all a ploy to try and trap us into buying vacation packages of their properties or worse, time share. It was never revealed when we booked our reservations that we would hit with that when checking in. We have stayed at Thousand Hills a few times in the past and were completely satisfied each time and have never had this happen to us. So if you decide to stay at this location, beware that you might be hit with a high pressured sales pitch as you check in at the front desk.
