A very average 4* hotel

Liked: A comfortable well kept hotel.
Disliked: Some of the staff. The receptionists on the whole were good but details were not passed on. The serving staff seemed to me not very well trained, as most questions we asked had to be verified by someone else, not very friendly either. I had already booked Sunday dinner for two before we arrived, but when I checked on arrival at the reception the meal had not been booked. I was then assured the meal was then booked but when we were shown to our small bistro style table we were told that we had not been booked in, and the restaurant was full, our Sunday lunch consisted of 2 ham sandwiches. Evening meal was adequate nothing special.

Liked: The breakfast was poor. The hot buffet looked very unappealing greasy and bacon/sausage looked undercooked. The alternative was croisants but these were stale and not very nice. Going for a final option of toast and there was no bread left! The hotel is beautiful and the breakfast was far from the standard expected.

Liked: Child friendly, the children’s robes were so good, accommodating children in the swimming pool and spa without feeling like they were a burden was great
