Liked: Really enjoyed our stay, the house was lovely and our hosts were really gracious. We felt comfortable and relaxed and we were made to feel very welcome. The super king bed was very comfortable and the vegetarian breakfast was great. Would highly recommend a visit, we will definitely be going back again. Good food in the local pubs and the location is close to Whitby, with a good bus service.

Liked: The property was in a good location, not far from Robin Hood’s Bay. The hosts were very welcoming, and approachable. Breakfast was very tasty and Janet couldn’t do enough for us. Beautiful place and we can’t wait to go back.

Liked: Breakfast were excellent. You have options to pick from and really well made. For one day we asked for porridge and it was not a problem to make it.

Liked: Robin Hood's Bay is a lovely spot and I would highly recommend Thorpe Green House. Janet and Steve were wonderful hosts and the room was large, clean, very comfortable and (despite the weather) very warm. The breakfasts - including home baked bread - were also excellent. On the day I was due to leave I was caught out by a sudden, heavy snowfall which made local roads, including the A171 to Scarborough, impassable. Janet and Steve very kindly offered to put me up for one more night without charge - thank you so much!

Liked: The hosts were very welcoming and the breakfast absolutely fabulous. Great location to explore the area with a short walk to the local pub. Would definitely stay there again for a relaxing weekend.
