Ok hotel, but could be...

Liked: Location was ok, about 10 min walk to Central Station and 6-7 min to National Theater stationBreakfast was ok, nothing special, just standard food choicesLocal 7/11 is 3 min walkTea and coffee in the room and reception available 24/7
Disliked: We've been to Oslo many times and always stayed at another hotel in Karl Johan's Gate. But this time we decided to try a new hotel and regretted it. First of all, when we checked in, we were given a room that looked nothing like the Double Room that was advertised on Booking.com and we expected. It was a very odd corner shape, the bedroom was tiny and there was no kitchen. I had to go back to reception and ask them to move us to another room with the kitchen which was the major selling point for us. Luckily, we were moved to another floor, to a bigger room with a kichen. Also, if you want to use slippers or the bathrobe that are mentioned in the room listing, you'll have to ask the reception as we found none in our room.Another strange experience was when we went to breakfast, the cleaning lady came in, emptied trash bins and made my half of the bed but not my husband's (he has a piece of clothing lying o n it). Nothing else was replaced, refreshed or cleaned. Lastly, be aware - wifi was easy to connect but there was no password protection.
