Shame …. They promise things...
Liked: Location fab, rooms fab
Disliked: What we were promised when booked wasn’t honoured. When we questioned the hotel they said the deals have stopped even though we received a messaged a couple of days before departure. Hotel focus too much on corporate business and then don’t respond to messages. Shame as could be a decent hotel.

Five star hotel without the...
Liked: The property is as gorgeous as expected having stayed at multiple Thompson Hotel locations.
Disliked: Not having any dining option beyond midnight on a weekend in Atlanta is quite inconvenient. Additionally, looked forward to a drink at Dirty Rascal but it was not open on the evening(Saturday) of my stay.

Disliked: You must pay close attention when you’re driving up to the hotel or you’ll miss it. The driveway is kind of a tight fit because they are always busy.

Hotel Changes
Liked: Clean hotel and they dod an great job decorating the room for my sons birthday!
Disliked: I noticed significant changes since my last stay a year ago. The staff seemed less accommodating to children, especially after the closure of the kid-friendly restaurant just two weeks prior to our visit. Despite the unannounced closure, there was no mention of this on the website when we made the reservation. The restaurant staff at Tesserae did not seem welcoming to children, except for our great waitress, Adrianna, who made our experience more pleasant. I observed several issues such as the lack of stocked toiletries in our room, a leaking shower that was not addressed after I reported it to the front desk, and our bathroom not being cleaned the next day despite leaving a note for toiletries it was ignored. Additionally, my request for extra pillows and a suitcase rack was disregarded. When I raised my concerns to the management about the lack of child-friendly food options and the absence of prior notice, they suggested we move to another hotel and waive our early check-out fee, which was not a feasible solution for us. Eventually, after expressing my dissatisfaction, the manager offered a refund for our breakfast, which I accepted. However, based on this experience, I am unlikely to recommend or stay at this hotel again.
