A great cozy bed &...
Liked: The staff was very friendly, it was a cozy atmosphere, it was in walking distance of great food, and historic landmarks. The breakfast was a nice warm cooked breakfast made fresh on the spot.
Disliked: It was a little warm in the building.

Not your typical B&B experience...
Liked: Loved the historic nature of the property.
Disliked: Coffee and tea station in the communal room was subpar for a b&b. Coffee was old; no kettle to boil hot water, no mugs or tea cups available, no milk or fresh cream. Breakfast was subpar.Additionally, the temperature of the upstairs rooms was sweltering.

Overall a good stay
Liked: The staff was very courteous and helpful. The location was unbeatable. The complimentary wine, coffee, tea and cookies were much appreciated.
Disliked: Breakfast could have offered more varieties, especially the "hot breakfast" on weekend. Pillows felt too soft.

Exceptional
Liked: I appreciated the charming decor. The breakfast was much more than indicated online. It pleasantly exceeded my expectations. It seemed as though the people who prepared the room actually stayed in it and made sure everything that would be needed was provided. It was a comfortable and pleasant stay.

The T. B. House is...
Liked: Wonderful Historical location in Phila. I noticed quality, authentic architectural light fixtures thru out of the 18th century period. My room had some old nice unexpected furniture 18th century reproduction pieces.Including a very tall, impressive Mahogany 4-poster Rice Bed. The room was very spacious with draped tall windows (4)&working gas fireplace! Room was partially wallpapered in red tones that coordinated nicely with the area rug. Bathroom was clean & with thick, very fluffy towels. The Breakfast room was 18th century charming & food offering’s placed neatly & on once again, surprisingly, quality “Botanical Garden” pattern dishes, the complete set ofmatching pitchers. Italian Blue Spode patterndishes dressed the Hutch-cabinet. Thereis a delightful tradition here of offering a complimentary glass of Wine in the evening & fresh-out of the oven Chocolate chip cookies! Overall my stay had a Williamsburg likefeel, somewhat rusticated like of those times,(no elevators).
Disliked: A critical eye would notice the well chosen Rugs thru out need a shampoo cleaning &most disturbing, the additional fold out bed/Sofa in my room was so soiled & old it was an eyesore from an other wise attractive room.
