Overall I would recommend it....

Disliked: Stayed in room 1 which in itself was lovely . However, the following should be done to make it 100%:1. Shelf in shower for soap2. Towel rails for more than one towel3. Beside table4. Joe cupboard space. The one one wardrobe is inadequate

Liked: Breakfast was good and varied. Dinner was good, but as we were staying for 7 night, there was no variation as the menu was the same all week,and only changed at the weekend. The room was very good and comfortable.
Disliked: Variation on the menu for the evening.was samey.

Liked: Lovely hotel, staff very helpful and friendly. Room immaculate clean. Food exceptional. Cannot recommend the hotel enough actually rebooked with husband early next year

Almost the perfect stay

Liked: Fantastic architecture. Perfect location (away from coast and town but close enough for easy access). Beautiful views and grounds.
Disliked: Everywhere very warm especially the eating areas which lowers your appetite. Certain rooms have open plan showers and baths which won’t be for everyone. Also our room was not good for more than a couple of nights stays as the wardrobe was tiny. We stayed for seven nights so two people’s outfits for over a week - not difficult for a different room to be recommended at the time of booking. Strange system of bill presentation drinks and food listed in order of when consumed but no dates - we had a lot of both so very difficult at check out to work out if what you had is on there or not. Perhaps slide bill under door night before check out if it’s going to run to a few pages ?
