Relaxing, enjoyable

Liked: Plenty of car park space, room was lovely and clean, breakfast was very good plenty of choice. Lovely grounds around the hotel.
Disliked: Nothing

It was like staying in...

Liked: Village location, large outdoor area and conservatory.
Disliked: Overpowering smell of stale cooking fat, particularly on the staircase. Food offering for the evening meal was heavy and unhealthy.

UK Tour

Liked: Great location in the Lakes district. Everything was good all round given it was their last day open as were to start renovating. Grasmere was lovely.

Disappointing and either booking.com or...

Liked: The location
Disliked: This hotel closed down the day we left. Facilities limited, meal choice was limited, bar limited, facilities not in use (bar and pool) staff also reduced in number because the place was being run down.
