Liked: I was lucky to get this hotel as I just decided to that I didn't want to have to travel back to Glasgow that particular day. It was a lovely day.I liked the biscuits in the room.The Staff were friendly.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Do not be put off by the slightly Fawlty Towers physical appearance of what has become a somewhat tired building and contents. It has an old-fashioned charm. Spotlessly clean. Really helpful owner and staff. Quiet. Good location. Breakfast: very good quality ingredients, carefully cooked, and copious is not really the word: a breakfast to set you up for 3 days not just one. REALLY good experience. Would gladly return and recommend.

Liked: Breakfast was good . Staff were friendly and welcoming .It was a good location, an easy walk along the promenade
Disliked: The room felt small, the picture made it look better and bigger. You could hear the snoring from the next room. The hotel felt grubby , it wasn't dirty but didn't feel clean. The one pillow on the bed smelt of body odour. The hand rail on the stairs did not feel safe. I have mobility issues so needed to use the hand rail to help go up the stairs. Did not feel it was value for money.
