The property is great value...

Liked: The rooms at the Wolf Inn are fantastic value for money. They are clean, modern, and well decorated. I have stayed here several times and have recommended it to other people for these reasons. I also love the privacy and ease of access here. You are given an access code on the day, so you can check into your room at your leisure. The rooms have a private entrance, straight from the road, so you do not need to go through the bar or check in at reception.
Disliked: On this occasion, however, I have given a lower score for comfort and the facilities of the particular room I stayed in. Room 2 (which I believe was described as a deluxe double) was below par for a couple of reasons. The main issue is the bed, which has one side pressed up against a wall, meaning you can only get into it from one side and the foot end. This is clearly because the room just isn't big enough to comfortably hold the double bed and the other facilities required. It is an awkward shape. For me this is a serious failure; a room described as a double, for two adults should at the very least have a double bed which is accessible from both sides so you do not need to climb over each other when you get up for a wee in the night. There are two smaller complaints: the taps in the bathroom are plumbed the wrong way round. I.e. hot is cold and cold is hot. And the kettle is placed on the refreshments desk when you arrive, but it does not reach a plug socket from there. In order to use it you need to move the kettle to the floor in the corner of the room.I'd recommend that the couple of small complaints in this room are addressed straight away. They are easily fixable. If it isn't possible to position the bed more suitably I suggest that the room is reappointed as a single, or clearly state the bed position in the room description. Either way a discount on the room price would be appropriate.
