Great for night owls but...

Liked: A centrally located hotel that was easy to find and is close to both town centre facilities and the seafront. The Brewery, a pub just up the road, does good bar meals, which is more than you can say for the Windsor.
Disliked: After going out for a meal I got back just before 9.00pm and the bar was shut - on a Saturday! So I had an early night and at 2.00am was woken by the noise from people exiting a night club directly opposite the hotel - perhaps I should have gone there for my after-meal drink. Things finally quietened down after half-an-hour and I was able to get back to sleep. It took me an hour to get to the hotel from Newcastle central station. I suspect that out-of-season this hotel has little to offer - I should have opted for a central hotel in Newcastle.

Very good

Liked: It was good value for money, had everything required a comfortable bed and plenty of space if a little basic but priced realistically.
Disliked: The breakfast was pre order the night before and not knowing what time wanted breakfast didn't take up the option saying that the cost was additional so didn't lose out

We were staying over night...

Liked: We were greeted by a lovely friendly lady on reception , check in was straight forward , told where rooms were situated , very spacious rooms as we were given family rooms which had everything anyone would need , very quiet comfortable night sleep , ideally situated for everything Thank you
Disliked: The only down side was that the lift was not working but would not put us off staying again, we were informed that it might not be in use
