Very relaxing, enjoyable, location great,...

Liked: Location fantastic, friendly and accommodating reception staff/spa,bar and restaurant staff seemed understaffed and busy.Facilities good but need a a bit of a freshen up.Room was good but one thing was poor lighting, lamps but no main light, couldn’t get ready properly.
Disliked: Lack of lighting in the room.

Would consider it again, hopefully...

Stay was comfortable enough just...

Liked: The spa was beautiful very clean, lovely relaxing area.
Disliked: There was a tray of dirty cups directly outside our room when we arrived and was there until the following afternoon. The shower did not work, the attachment that you needed to use to switch over to the big shower wouldn’t stay, they one time it decided to work as we was fiddling about with it the water came shooting out scolding hot and burnt my husbands side of his face.A small problem soon solved was there was only one towel in the room. It’s little things like that that make a big difference. Bar staff was very slow, we ordered a coffee and we was the only ones in the bar area, there was two people doing stock take which impeded the girl making our coffees, we waiting 20 minutes for them.Furniture in our room was scruffy and dented. Overall, it is a really lovely hotel, maybe we just had not a smooth experience as we would have liked. I am by no means a fussy person I just expected a little more. This is a perfect location to the town area with plenty of eateries around. I would like to return but I would probably book a better room next time and see if that would make a difference.

Liked: Spa facilities were excellent. Room was comfortable and clean and spacious. Staff were lovely and the location was about a 10minute walk from town!

Liked: The spa facilities and room were good and clean.
Disliked: The bar staff were rude/ untrained. Evening relaxing mealtime was ruined as a function was on and kitchen staff not prepared to cook from 830 when kitchen orders close at 9:00. As told by reception on checking in. Offered a cold sandwich for dinner, but on challenging and asking to see a manager we managed to get some hot food. No manager or supervisor came to see us either. Not a relaxing stay.
