Expensive for what is frankly.

Liked: Location excellent - as was the breakfast - dinner menu the options weren’t brilliant but the specials were fine.Staff were not well trained - in fact the younger members of staff looked very miserable as thought they didn’t want to be there!Bedroom was luxurious.
Disliked: The young members of staff

Beautiful old building and settings...

Liked: It’s proximity to local attractions and settings are beautiful.
Disliked: The bedroom was set into the loft space which was cramped and not habitable in our view. Bathing facilities are a joke! You have to either sit or kneel in the bath to shower water get everywhere as there is no protection available. If you’re over 5’10 in height forget it as you are continuously hitting your head on sloping ceilings. This room should not be advertised as it’s only fit enough as a cleaners/storage cupboard!! The bar prices are astronomical !!

Pleasant stay, friendly staff and...

Liked: The French toast was to die for!
Disliked: I found the bathroom hard. Mirror was positioned at 4foot, lm 6 1. I fully understand you could not put walk in the shower, but for an elderly person is hard to get into or out of the bath. Recommend a bath seat would have made a difference!
