Liked: The staff was the best! Incredibly friendly, attentive, and personable. Breakfast buffet the morning after Christmas Day was a wonderful treat. I had a 30 minute swim in the pool and was thrilled that the pool was indoor and heated. The lobby, lounge, and restaurant areas were decorated beautifully for the holidays. The lobby is just a beautiful experience, even without Christmas decor.
Disliked: I felt the decor of my room didn’t necessarily match the decor of the lobby and guest spaces. The rooms seem a little outdated. The windows are in desperate need of cleaning. My room had a great view of the downtown skyline, but the windows were so dirty I kept the curtains closed because keeping them open made the room feel like a dingy motel. That was incredibly disappointing. The tall floor lamp in our room had a lamp shade that was stained and discolored. There were also stains/residue on the door frame of the bathroom door. My mother gifted my husband and I a Christmas stay at The Whitley because it is her and my father’s favorite hotel when they’re wanting a staycation. She asked if I’d stay again and I unfortunately told her, I’d prefer to explore other hotels in the city. I didn’t want to tell her no because it would seem ungrateful, but also did not want her to spend her hard earned money on gifting us a future stay. She was incredibly generous and intentional with this Christmas gift. It’s been a difficult year for us. But I honestly wouldn’t stay again because of the room experience. I did tell her I’d join her for lunch or dinner because I absolutely loved the gathering spaces and nooks in the lobby and restaurants.

Liked: Overall a very nice stay. Was very impressed when I walked in. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean and spacious.
Disliked: Room had a large sticky spot on the carpet. Room service was a bit on the pricy side.

Liked: i was greeted with a smile and great hospitality, the gentleman up front was extremely helpful and polite, i showed up very early just to check on my reservation and he was able to let me in the room a few hours early, i can't express enough how great the stay was, i will be back for sure, awesome place to stay and the hot tub was great as well and the gym facility was a big plus also 5 stars from me and the lady
