Great location but need to...

Liked: It’s location
Disliked: The room was musty, dirty carpet and broken tiles in bathroom.I was in a room next to an old cranky, squeaky lift that you could hear all night long.

Large hotel on beachfront, easy...

Liked: Receptionist was very welcoming and friendly.Room was spacious and clean overall.
Disliked: Carpet in room not great.The lift was very tiny, rickety and noisy and unfortunately our room was right next to it so we could hear it every time it was used

White Rock Hotel Bank Holiday...

Liked: Hotel is opposite the pier 15/20 minutes walk to The Old Town. Great friendly staff, nice breakfast. Lovely terrace at front to sit and pass the day.
Disliked: Stairs could be testing with luggage, small lift. We have stayed before though and knew this!!

Good place to stay for...

Liked: Exceptional reception staff. Bar staff charmingly a bit forgetful but otherwise very good - friendly. Clean and fresh
Disliked: Access - heavy suitcases to lug up steps - couldn't see a ramp (or down from the car park) and difficult to get through revolving door (this is probably a listed feature so I understand the difficulty). The kettle didn't automatically switch off when boiling and there were marks of mould on the curtain lining. It would be lovely to have towels that are larger (for people of "traditional" build!
