Good place, great location.

Liked: Great location and super friendly and helpful staff. Dedicated parking really helpful.
Disliked: Can get quite noisey if you are a light sleeper; quite expensive for what it is but I think that’s just Ambleside prices!

We had a lovely stay...

Liked: The location was excellent, easy walking to shops, cafes etc, with on site parking. Our room was large and comfortable with a large ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was good, full English, although other options available. The bar area downstairs was busy on Saturday evening so if planning to eat there, request a table reservation. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The TV in the room could do with a wifi link so that we could get onto our Netflix/catch up tv. Also, the wifi in the room for access to phones etc is not password protected so not secure.

Liked: Great location in Ambleside, easy accessible by car for tourist spots. Breakfast was lovely. Comfortable beds.
Disliked: Staff at check in/check out were not very friendly. Hairs on bathroom floor/bedroom carpet when first entering our room (so definitely not ours)Car park spaces not great.Could hear music whilst in our room at night time.
