Exceptional

In general happy with stay...

Liked: Breakfast was very good and tasty with good selection, omelettes, smoked salmon, choice of juices, yoghurt etc.We had big bags, had to do flights of stairs, room good but tight, not much room to hang up clothes etc.Location great with regard to walking to town.
Disliked: Larger room to facilitate big bags.

A very memorable and wonderful...

Liked: The owner, Nicholas was polite, accommodating, helpful and courteous. We did not have a taxi contact from rail station and he provided the details immediately. The room was at right at the top, the cleanliness/freshness of the bed sheet, pillows, towels, toiletries, etc were much appreciated! The magnificent view outside the window was breathtaking! The breakfast was excellent with very diverse options, and Nicholas himself prepared the dishes. He gave us some very good tips on where to visit and it all worked out well for both of us. A hotel well worth visiting!
Disliked: Nothing really, just the room a little small, but manageable.

Excellent short break in a...

Liked: Loved the querky decor, so individual. Excellent service from Nicholas. Breakfast , although no full English, had omelets, eggs etc and a great selection of cereals, yoghurt etc.
Disliked: Loved it all.

Lovely place to stay

Liked: Rooms decorated very well with nice comfy bed. Location good to walk into Newquay
Disliked: Stayed here for five nights. The room was spotless clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast good and not the usual full English. Not many parking spots but we did manage to park each day. Convenient for walking into Newquay

Liked: Super clean, classy place. We enjoyed Nicholas and his Mom( the owners). Great location for Newquay stay without car

Barely up to standard.

Liked: We like the breakfast but nothing else
Disliked: No hot water, no radiation provided under cold weather. When we first approached the staff, he was very rude, unwilling to solve the problems, rather mean. Yet, after one night, his attitude changed (maybe I have sent a complain to booking.com). Suddenly became rather friendly and helpful in the morning. After all, apart from a good breakfast provided plus the housekeeping and the staff serving our breakfast (same person, a Thai lady)whom is very friendly and acted professionally, nothing much credited to this guest house. Don’t think we shall visit again.
