Would recommend this place to...

Liked: Wow ! We loved this little treasure of the Cotswolds. The pub was just perfect, 3 open fires, friendly staff and landlord which instantly made us feel welcome.
Disliked: The rooms are good, bed comfy and warm. Only point was that the bathroom could do with a slight update.

Disappointing for the price paid...

Liked: Allowed to check in early.Quaint old english pub with log fires.
Disliked: Access to room 11 and 2 others was via a metal fire escape in the car park.We were told on arrival that breakfast was not served during the week although this was not stated on the website.The heating in the bedroom and bathroom was not on and it was very cold.When we came to checkout at 8-30am there was nobody present and we had to leave the room key on the pub bar.

Great Cotswold village stay

Liked: Lovely pub atmosphere. and a very good dinner. St Austell brewery ale too!Lovely staff.
Disliked: Room was next to extractor fan from the kitchen. No breakfast!

Liked: Friendly staff, superb food, cosy pub with lovely period features
Disliked: Mattress a little bouncy. Could do with bedside lights so you can control a lower lighting option.

Lovely Tudor pub with open...

Liked: Had lunch when we arrived which was very good home made food. Provided breakfast which was also enjoyable. Staff very friendly and helpful. First evening went to bar for a drink, even though busy was able to get served quickly and the pub atmosphere was good. Would recommend.
Disliked: Could do with some drawers to put things away and only three hooks on the wall for hanging. The bathroom was cold and draughty unfortunately. Otherwise clean and well presented.
