Lovely visit to see family...

Liked: The location was excellent right in the heart of Romsey with great bus and train connections. We ate in the restaurant which was nice and the food was good quality. Our room was very quaint and a little lopsided.
Disliked: Our room faced the busy town which was fine during the day but lots of activity during the early hours with draymen etc., if I stayed again I would request a room out back. We also had a door between our room and bathroom which had to be locked which was strange especially if you needed the bathroom during the night. There were also works going on in the hotel which we were not told of at the time of our booking which restricted our dining experiences.

Disliked: The lighting in bathroom very bright!Lots of stairs but wonderful staff helped us with our bags.

Liked: Friendly hotel set right in the centre of Romsey. A building with character and very comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Disliked: No carpark although there is a pay one behind the hotel.
