Noisy rooms above a pub.

Liked: Location was great
Disliked: This really isn’t a hotel. It’s a pub with rooms. If you are staying here or going to book, don’t expect to get any sleep until after 1 am the rooms are above a very noisy pub. It was so bad. I actually rang the pub to ask what time the music gets turned off it was beyond ridiculous.

Liked: The Room was exceptional; spacious, beautifully decorated, great decor and lighting (recently refurbished). The bathroom was great - bright, clean, fresh. Bed was very comfortable

Overall, an acceptable stay

Liked: Breakfast choice was good - the only real criticism I have about the cooked breakfast is had (on only one day) was, it was served onto a cold plate, causing the food to cool quicker!
Disliked: The bed pillows were firm foam pillows which were not to my liking - being used to good quality feather pillows at home + the duvet was not plump and cosy

Great rooms and good value...

Liked: Great value for money. The hotel is newly decorated and the room we stayed in was clean, spacious and stylish. Would stay again if we were visiting Buckingham.

Superb

Liked: Excellent location in the centre of Buckingham, very friendly & helpful staff, lovely old building, good heating in room, car park, reasonably priced, definitely recommend! .
Disliked: Car park gets busy, though we found a space throughout our weekend there & the public car park behind Waitrose is pretty close by & not expensive.

We would stay there again.

Liked: Bedroom and bathroom were very clean and obviously recently refurbished. Bed very comfortable. Shower great and spotlessly clean.Staff very friendly and helpful. Parking on site (although first come, first served). Lots of choice/flexibility for breakfast.
Disliked: There was some noise from the bar but we knew to expect this on a Friday night, not a problem for us but could be consideration for some visitors.
