Liked: We've stayed at this bed and breakfast many times and we know what to expect. It's very peaceful and the staff are nice. There's an artificial fireplace which is nice the soft glow is nice to have in the evening and provides a nice touch. Very warm and cozy.
Disliked: We were told right after we made full payment over the phone that breakfast would not be served Christmas Day, which was a disappointment since this is one of the bed and breakfast's included amenities, although it's understandable as to why it was not served due to being Christmas Day. I think they should have told us that before we paid and it should have been part of the description in their ad on booking.comThe room could stand a thorough cleaning top to bottom. The artificial plants above the wet bar were dusty, the coffee table and information book that had the room information in it had various splatters of a previous guest's syrup on it, and the gold soap tray at the bathroom sink was clearly not rinsed off after the previous guest as it had soap stains in it. Lastly, I didn't get much sleep because the bed seems to be getting really worn. I've slept in this bed before, and the mattress is starting to feel like it's time to be changed. Just a suggestion, but I think it would be nice if they put a memory foam mattress in the room. They are actually less costly than regular quality mattresses now.
