Gem of a hotel in...

Liked: This a lovely little hotel close to the Manchester suburbs of Broughton and Prestwich. The staff are very friendly, even though I had a very late check-in on the Friday night there were no issues. Bed was very comfortable, and the room (along with the whole hotel) was spotlessly clean. Bathroom is a bit old-fashioned but with a modern shower, which is the bit I actually care about.I paid the extra for breakfast and it is definitely worth it- a really good selection, far superior to travel lodge et al. but for a similar price.

Beautiful hotel and friendly staff

Liked: The hotel was lovely and clean, we loved the miniature bar we sat and had a few drinks and played some card games which we brought. The night clerk that was on was very friendly and polite. We added breakfast upon arrival, we were spoilt for choice when it came to breakfast with a mixture of freshly cooked full English choices and continental buffet style all you can eat breakfast. For a very reasonable price. There was free onsite parking which is always a bonus.
Disliked: The only thing we didn't like in the hotel was the pillows which meant a very restless night. We also heard other residents arriving at the hotel late, they parked their car at the rear of the building left all the doors open and were playing very loud rap music around 12/1am, they all stood outside the car dancing and talkjng very loudly at eachother over the music. We opened the window and asked them to turn the music off or turn it down since people are trying to sleep and were told to calm down its a Saturday night don't be a Karen. Obviously this is not the hotels fault but it did leave a sour taste for me and my partner who were trying to enjoy a full night of rest away from our autistic children and this was our first night away from them in 6yrs.
