Mixed but would not go...

Liked: Food good but very expensive. Room service was more like takeaway/delivery than room service. Good quality food from uber.

Expensive, and quite disappointing

Liked: The staff were quietly helpful and the shower was nice.
Disliked: The hotel was in the middle of an area of land under construction. This was not made clear when I made the booking in September 2024. Although it was quiet when we were there (just one night) the whole area was quite grim. There is the Sky Train close by so 25 minutes gets you into downtown Vancouver but don't expect to find anything to do or anywhere to go by foot in the area.The fridge in the room had just two very small bottles of still mineral water. The coffee maker only had three coffee sachets for two of us and the bathroom only had one bathrobe. For the price (imo high compared to other similar hotels near major airports) I would have expected more. However the staff were helpful.

Disliked: The parking situation was terrible. I was leaving for an early flight and was told by the man at the front desk to look for a button so someone could open the parking garage gate. Being unfamiliar with the garage layout, I couldn’t find the correct exit or a button for the gate. I had to leave my car parked at wrong gate to go back up to the lobby for assistance. It was very evident that the man was annoyed by the request and was unnecessarily rude. The instructions very confusing and there was no signage in the garage that would have allowed me to easily exit on my own.

Liked: Clean, close to the airport.Reliable.
Disliked: The one waiter was loud, refused to remove some condiments that were not ordered. His shoes were dirty and worn out. The dining room was soul less and bland. For a 4 star hotel, the menu selection was limited.

Friendly staff, clean and comfortable...

Liked: My wife and Mom-in-law stayed at this location. They said the staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. They dined at the restaurant for dinner; my MIL said it was the best salmon she's had in a long time.
Disliked: They went out to their car and found a parking ticket on the car. The ticket was issued four hours after check-in. Thankfully the hotel staff said they'd take care of it. My wife mentioned she wished there was a vending machine or small store to purchase snacks and such. However, this didn't diminish her experience.
