Liked: location is great. pool area on the 18th floor is nice. Housekeeping did a good job except being loud socializing and talking about personal stuff in the hallway early mornings
Disliked: No one mentioned these Hidden fees, not even when I checked in. Destination fees $28/night plus tax. I have stayed at Westin Tempe from 1/1/25 till 1/5/25 guest number 184288. I sent this email 6 days ago to the Shivam Bhakta in accounting but my email was ignored "I am contacting you regarding the destination fee that I was charged for each day . It was $28 plus tax of $3.94so that is $31.94 for each day. I checked in on 1/1/25 between 11pm and 12am. The front desk clerk NEVER mentioned these added charges. I gave her my credit card for incidentals not for fixed daily charges. I was not told about these hidden destination fees. If I was told about these hidden fees I would've gone to the Omni next door. I was charged $127.76 I called the hotel and talked to Shantal and she tried to justify these fees for the beverage vouchers the hotel gave me which I did not use even one voucher and left them in the room. In other words, the hotel gave me free vouchers for beverages and ended up charging me $31.94 per night for these supposedly free vouchers.I am very disappointed and I am requesting a full refund of $127.76." This is totally unacceptable.
