Great stay overall. I felt like royalty - the door was opened for us every day when leaving the property. Jesse, who checked us in, was great! Very informative and friendly. Room had some minor maintenance issues. But overall, great place to stay!

Great Hotel.

Liked: We have stayed in a number of hotels on our road trip from Miami to Houston and I have been constantly disappointed with hotel we have stayed in, and they weren't inexpensive places! However, the Westin New Orleans was brilliant from start to finish. Great views over the Mississippi from our large room and the downstairs bar on the 11th floor. The room was ready on time. Great gym and very helpful staff. Location is great.
Disliked: We loved everything about our two night stay.

Hard to beat the location,...

Liked: Location is very good with close proximity to the French Quarter, aquarium and great views of the river. Very solid breakfast buffet and omelette bar and dining quarters are well maintained and attended to by staff.
Disliked: Rooms are clearly a little worse for wear and not sure how great the rooms were cleaned while we stayed there but generally decent in the way of cleanliness.
