Exceptional
Liked: Friendly staff. Beautiful atmosphere. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable.
Disliked: I think there should be a discount for the buffet downstairs for breakfast if you are a guest at the hotel. The price was a little steep for me.

Hotel is fine, staff are...
Liked: Location is convenient. Close to downtown.
Disliked: The staff at the property are very rude. My room was booked for 2 adults. I called to add my husband’s name to the reservation and they refused to add it to the reservation. Staff (Tom) insisted I contact booking.com to add the name. I did. I called back and the “Manager” (Francisco) refused to add the name and was dismissive and wouldn’t listen that I had contacted booking.com and had an email confirmation with the added name. He also insisted that it was a problem that didn’t need to be addressed since my reservation was for the next day. *Side note: He also tried to claim that he didn’t have any information regarding my reservation even though I had given my name and he knew when my reservation was for. Total gaslighting behavior.*I tried to explain that I would be getting on a flight in a few hours, would not be able to contact the hotel later, and that my husband would be arriving before me. He continued to be rude and dismissive. When I told him that I felt that he was being rude, rather than toning down his attitude, he accused me of being rude because I had expressed my distaste for his unprofessionalism. The conversation went nowhere. Francisco was not helpful and had no care that he was exhibiting terrible customer service. I ended the call feeling frustrated. When my husband arrived at the hotel, his name was not added to the reservation. Ironically, Francisco was at the front desk and became quite flustered when my husband presented the email confirmation for the booking as well as the confirmation which added his name to the reservation. It should not be so difficult to add the second guest to a reservation for 2. Staff at this hotel should be more accommodating and less sassy to guests. If they don’t want to be hospitable, they should not work in hospitality. Listening to customers instead of cutting them off or rushing them off goes a long way.
