Incredibly Magical, a Hallmark movie...

Liked: I thought everything was actually so beyond belief! When we arrived it was as though we had pulled straight into a Hallmark movie. The room was incredibly spacious and I felt as though we were living in the lap of luxury. The "pantry" element made me feel like I was a rich celebrity for the weekend. The fireplaced living room actually made the room super warm and cozy when turned on. The comfort level of the beds was insanely impressive, and the steam shower was a hit with my partner, he could not get enough! The best element is the enclosed outdoor hot tub room. INsanely cool and will be coming back again. Do not count this place out for any reason whether it is price or location. Price is worth it for me personally, and the location couldn't be more perfect. 5 mins away from Glen NH and 20 from Conway. Brilliant spot that we will be back to!
Disliked: There was not a thing I didn't like, but I do always believe that improvement has room everywhere. I think a bit more snacks in the "pantry" would be great. There were chips but I think CLIFF/granola bars and maybe another cold snack like a pickle bag or something would bring it over the top and offer more choice. Additionally, the 1869 room meal we enjoyed, the steak was not cooked to our requested temperatures. We had asked for "no pink" well done and medium steaks. Mine arrived medium all the way through so I could only eat to a certain point. My partner's arrived unlike anything we'd ever seen. It was very blue throughout the meat, I would say a true blue rare. Regardless of what "proper" cooking instructions are, I would assume one knows when someone asks for well done and no pink, a chef likely knows what they really are looking for. But that truly was my only comment or gripe and admittedly could have mentioned it in the restaurant itself, just a bit daunting when it comes at the price point it does, and we are the age that we are. Sometimes judgement comes fast and hard and we just did not want to deal with it.

Liked: The room was large and clean. The hotel is very pretty and has a nice restaurant and bar area with fireplaces.
Disliked: The heat wasn't working in our room and I called guest services but nobody answered the phone. It was freezing and very uncomfortable!
