Lovely spot

Liked: Beautiful room, well appointed, comfortable bed. The restaurant has fabulous meals, but disappointed at the lack of non alcoholic drinks choices over and above soft drinks.

The staff, and the food...

Liked: The breakfast was great, all staff very helpful and very accomadating. Location is great, can leave the car in the car park and walk to local pubs and resturants.
Disliked: On arrival the toliet was not clean, which I did report. The wardrobe space is only any good if your about 3 feet 6ins tall. The room is very small for two people and two suitcases. To sum up, the room is quaint, quirky and cute but not over practical for more than a short stay.

Unique rooms in a tranquil...

Liked: Lovely location and nice bar and restaurant area.
Disliked: Service was slow and when eventually meals came they were inedible. We understand this is unusual as most diners appeared to be local. The staff were great about it all and recommended restaurants in the area. The room was clean but very strange mix of styles and furnishings almost as if it wasn’t sure what it was trying to be but it was pleasant enough in its own way.Kitchen staff vaping in the kitchen wasn’t a welcome sight in the morning but we left before breakfast which meant we had to leave via the upstairs fire escape - not ideal if you have mobility issues.

Fantastic weekend getaway

Liked: The staff were friendly and attentive, the atmosphere relaxed, the food amazing, and the room was absolutely lovely. The only downside was the room's (#1) roadside location which meant some street noise was heard. Breakfast was just as delicious as dinner!
