Liked: Great location overlooking South Downs also close to Petworth House.Views from room and restaurant stunning. Staff friendly and helpful, food really good, dinner & breakfast, would definitely recommend.

A great overnight stay

Liked: Great location for my work the next day. The room was very comfortable and clean. The food was freshly cooked and very delicious.
Disliked: I didn't realise until the morning that there was no milk in the room for tea. The wine prices for a pub are extortionate.

Excellent stop over. Will return.

Liked: Very comfortable room. Fully equipped with everything needed. Lovely pub and restaurant. Staff were very welcoming and attentive. Wonderful views from the property over the South Downs with great walks nearby. Good value too.
Disliked: Traffic noise but it was quiet at night so no problem.

Liked: How dog friendly they are, this is the first time I’ve stayed away with both pooches and the welcome from all the staff here put my mind at ease. The food was excellent and the service exceptional
