Way above expectations

Liked: First impresion of public areas was not a good inclination of things to come. Room was exceptional and way above expectations. We can not comment on restaurant as we had eaten earlier. However, the choice and quality of the breakfast was more than acceptable.Overall a great experience, enhanced by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.

Pleasant, safe place to stay...

Liked: Quiet spacious room with tea and coffee maker. Breakfast a little pricey but very good.
Disliked: It was difficult to contact the hotel the day before - no answer on phone. The booking.com site said they had laundry but I received a message the day before saying this was no longer the case.No elevator to the upper floor. (At least I did not see one.)Not the hotel's fault but it is off a busy narrow road with cars zooming by clearly not obeying the 30mph limit.
