Liked: I liked looking out on a forest from my bedroom's big window. I also enjoyed the leisure facilities.
Disliked: The hotel was definitely not worth the price! We paid over £300 per night for a family lodge for 4 people. The kitchenette only has a kettle and a fridge plus sink, but no option to heat up food, no plates or cutlery. Also only got our cleaning kit on day 3. The breakfast is not great. The bacon was nice, but the cooked breakfast portion as such is not great and you won't get seconds. GF option means items are left out without replacement. Continental isn't great either, eg no cut up fresh food, no cheese or cold meats, no danish. Staff could be more accommodating, eg told us we had to check in from 3pm only when actually, we could check in early on arrival. Also, on NYE the whole bar was 'reserved' which meant empty apart from 1 table (it's got about 10) We had to sit in the reception area for our pre dinner drinks to see 2 more people enter the premises. Just ill thought out and not very accommodating.
