One of my favorite hotels...
Liked: Exceptional location with views of the Potomac, very close to Georgetown and D.C. West End. Rooms are very well designed and comfortable. Most staff very very courteous and helpful.
Disliked: I was not allowed to use any of the facilities (eg swimming pool) upon my arrival in the morning until I could check in after 3 pm.

Amazingly great evening for my...
Liked: All the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Friendly eager to help. Rooms were clean and bright. My view was amazing!
Disliked: Location was an issue for Lyft drivers. I guess GPS doesn’t do a good job with that. I feel that you need painted up and down arrows in driveway so drivers know.

For the cost it was...
Liked: The staff was very welcoming, we had room service for breakfast which was the fruit platter, Greek yogurt Parfeit, fresh squeezed orange juice and Iced coffee which was okay for the the price. Location was in DC and had a wonderful waterview on the balcony, but it was raining so didn't get to use it in the evening - but can't control the weather. Staff was also very kind on our way out as well. The ambiance in the lobby is quite nice, with their grand piano and wine/beer bottle stacked wall. Super cool.
Disliked: The TV kept going off every 5-10 minutes, which is annoying when you need to entertain little ones, I tried calling the front desk to see if they could help, after exploring the TV menu settings, but no answer. There was a loud cranking sound, not like I've experienced at other hotels ever 30 to 40 minutes, which scared my kids, I assumed it was the heater/ac in the room. I thought it was ridiculous to charge for Valet Parking for an almost $500 room. We were quite shocked that staying there cost us $690 after taxes and fees and Valet Parking, and not even added in the total is that room service does charge a 22% gratitude fee with a $4 delivery fee on top of the expensive menu. I do think Booking.com should be more transparent on the costs taxes and fees, so we aren't left questioning why we had to pay more than they showed.
