Disliked: In the morning there was storm so all the buses were cancelled. The chef could not make it to come. Therefore, there was no warm breakfast. This was totally disappointing. The property could have taken taxi for chef.

Overpriced, unclean stay for £100...

Liked: The car park facility was convenient and the tea/coffee tray was well supplied. The availability of late check-out was very handy. The shower pressure was good!
Disliked: The cleanliness was very poor. The floors had not been hoovered in our room AT ALL, with bits covering the entire surface. The shower leaked all over the floor. The hotel itself is dated but we expected that - but our room was significantly worse condition than the photos.

Wonderful staff but very cold...

Liked: Check-in upon arrival is quick and efficient. The staff were great and welcoming. Props to the 9 a.m breakfast staff on New Year’s Eve. The location is good.
Disliked: The room was SO cold—it felt like the same temperature inside as it was outside. Even with the radiator set to full (5), it barely heated itself, let alone the room. To make matters worse, the shower water didn’t go beyond lukewarm, which felt even colder given how freezing the room was.The bed was okay, but the mattress in room 40 seems to have some springs that are either out of place or worn down.I can tell there’s genuine effort being made, but honestly, the place needs significant investment to bring it up to standard. Fixing the windows that have gaps and ensuring proper heating would be a good start, so guests can stay comfortably warm.In the end, I don’t feel like I got what I paid for.

We enjoyed Bristol but unfortunately...
