This is a beautiful hotel near the beach. I love it! The mini fridge and microwave were a plus. I loved everything about my stay, aside from the fact that I was charged twice for the room. Hoping that's just some sort of extra thing they do to hold the room, and that the charge will come off soon, but it's still a big inconvenience since it's a lot of money.

Liked: Hotel was beautiful and clean.
Disliked: I was charged twice for the room. I talked to the front desk and they say they only charged me once, so I don't know what happened. If the second charge doesn't get reimbursed back to me soon I'll need to dispute it with my bank.

This was a very nice hotel. The desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and the bathroom was as well, with lots of towels. Our room window was facing the freeway which another reviewer said was loud - I did not hear a thing. We took a Lyft to a concert we were attending at Doheney Beach - the patio out front was super nice in waiting for that Lyft with nice comfortable patio furniture. We went to two local bars right around the corner within walking distance. One had a great live band , the other had an awsome patio with a huge firepit and great food. We walked down the street in the morning to Starbucks. Didn't get a chance to check out the pool or explore the town better but from what I did see I would highly reccommend. Price wasn't too bad either.

Nice stay

Liked: This was a short stay that we booked at the last minute so we didn't really have very high expectations but it turned out to be a good stay. The location is nice with plenty of dining options within walking distance. The staff member that checked us in was very nice and friendly.
Disliked: There was a long delay in check out as they don't have a key drop box and the staff member that was on duty was not at the desk so we had to wait a long time to be able to leave.

Superb

Liked: Nice hotel. Close to everything in San Clemente. Fresh baked cookies in the afternoon.
Disliked: A little noisy in the room.

Good

Liked: Good location, easy check-in/check-out, clean room, comfortable bed.
Disliked: Television wasn’t easy to use and there was no sound; Toilet handle stuck every time; desk chair was in very poor condition (torn fabric); noisy bathroom fan.

A convenient and reasonably priced...

Liked: The size, decor, and quiet room. The chocolate chip cookies and the cleaning staff. Parking was free and convenient. Price of hotel and proximity to shops and restaurants was excellent. We were checked in early free of charge.
Disliked: A desk chair in our room was in poor condition; the upholstery was peeling and the seat was falling apart and hard to sit in. The chandelier hanging across from elevator was dusty and covered with spider webs.The pool was inoperable.

I would definitely book here...

Liked: Very clean hotel.
Disliked: Wasn’t too thrilled about I tried calling before we arrived, and it took probably about five attempts to somebody to answer the phone. When I tried calling the lobby, I had a TV issue that also took probably three attempts to reach a person down at the lobby.

No water pressure. No hot...

Liked: Location to downtown was the best feature about this hotel. It needs to be torn down and rebuilt.
Disliked: Water pressure was terrible No hot water Bed very uncomfortable Could hear the highway noise all night long.My tv channels were changing as the person next door used their remote.

Exceptional

Liked: Trey! Trey! Trey!He should teach others (nationwide) how customer service looks, feels, and sounds.Having been in the service industry for 25-plus years, I know a Rock Star in hospitality when I see one.Ironically, I was there because my bathroom (Im a local) was out of service. If not for that, I would have never had the pleasure of meeting Trey!
Disliked: Not a thing.
