Liked: Location - right near the lake front, we enjoyed the short, flat walk into 'town' and stumbled across the markets on a Sunday morning. Parking was right outside the front door (no steps for our assigned room) which was amazing given we were travelling with an infant.The staff provided a portacot free of charge as well during our stay.There was a clothes drying rack in the room - we were on the road for a few weeks and needed places with washing facilities, not all places with washing machines have drying racks so we were very very pleased when we found one here.Our room was spacious and was a lot bigger than we expected, we got settled in pretty quick and it felt very homely. We loved our stay in Taupo!
